Greeting

英語と楽器演奏、
これは私が30年以上をかけて継続しているライフワークです。
しかし、どちらの継続も楽しい経験ばかりではありません。
「好きこそものの上手なれ」とは言うものの、
思うように進歩が感じられず、もどかしく思うこともあります。
どうしても技術や知識の習得には時間がかかります。
それでも、「英会話で新しい表現方法やボキャブラリーが増えた」とか
「難しかったあの曲のベースが弾けるようになった」など上達を実感するたび、
続けて良かった！努力が報われた！という気持ちになります。

英語は受験科目として重要ですが、
世界の人々の物の考え方を知るためのツールとして
気軽な気持ちで使えるようになれたら、
人生がもっと楽しくなると思います。

Qualifications and career

獨協大学外国語学部英語学科卒業。
その後独学で英語の勉強を継続し、TOEIC860点を取得。
20年来継続しているバンド活動では、
日本とヨーロッパにて数枚のCDを発表。
ドイツ、韓国、香港では、公演も行いました。

中学時代に初めて英語に接して以来、
その西洋文化に根ざした、
豊富で多彩な表現の数々に魅了され続けています。
私にとって英語の学習は、まるで、
非常に興味深い本のページをワクワクしながらめくるような、
決して飽きることのない探究の旅のようです。
若い中学生たちが英語の面白さに気づいてもらい、
さらには英語を通して交流し世界の人々の様々な価値観を理解してもらう、
そういう手助けができたら幸いです！

I graduated from Dokkyo University
and earned Bachelor's degree of English language in 1996.
Also I got a score of 860 on the TOEIC by studying on my own.
Aside from pursuing the career of studying English,
I have been playing in the band over 20 years
and releasing CDs in Japan　and Europe.
I have several experiences of having concerts overseas,
like in Germany, Korea, and Hong Kong.

Since I first encountered English back in my junior high school days,
it still keeps fascinating me with its wide and rich variety
of expressions reflecting the Western cultural background.
I never get bored studying English.
It's a lifetime journey for me like turning unread pages
of very interesting novel.
It would be my pleasure if I can be the guide
for junior high school students to help them find the key
to enjoy learning English and hopefully have a chance
to know other people's way of thinking in the world
by using English as a communication tool!!
